Activity-Based Enrichment Classes

This is a great way to get to know our school, and get you out of the house. Take a look and sign up for whatever suits your fancy. Every child must be accompanied by a family member or caregiver.

Mondays | Once Upon A Rhyme

Tell me a story, tell me a rhyme, and do it all in our storytime! Travel with us to a fantasy world (no suitcase needed.) Want to get away? No need to book a trip! We'll start with a story and then adventure into a related activity.

Mondays | Tinker Tots

Are you finding open drawers and cabinets at home? Your child will be busy picking locks, opening doors, and solving the mysteries of velcro, door chains, and zippers. They'll explore with wrenches, hammers, and bolts. Fine motor skills will be worked to the core. No need for babyproofing for this class as curiosity is welcomed and encouraged.

Music with Parker… need we say more? Only LA’s most popular music-man. Each week, we get a little bit louder now with new songs, musical styles, and various instruments.

Wednesdays | Messy Art

Designer duds discouraged. We do everything you don't want to do at home. Get ready to get messy as we explore new materials. Each session includes supplies and guaranteed smiles.

Wednesdays | Move It and Cruise It

If your little peep likes to move it and cruise it, this class is for you. Your child's gross motor skills will grow as they roll through different obstacle courses with their bodies and trucks and cars. Before you know it, they will be ready to be an action star or stunt double.

Thursdays | Muck it Up | CLASS FULL

Taught by our very own studio experts, you'll get to mix fun materials and ingredients, creating all kinds of smells, colors, and textures. Best part: It’s not in your home.

Thursdays | Little Explorers

What's in this? What's under that? Can I reach? What's this? What's that? What does this feel like, smell like, sound like? Your little adventurers will use their senses, their bodies, and their brains to explore it all.

Fridays | Movin and Groovin

From rock to Bach, we’ll spin some tunes as we stretch, bend, and move our bodies to the beat. Your child will develop gross motor skills, learn spatial awareness, and leave with some new friends… and some new moves.

Fridays | Sound City

Come explore sounds of high and low tones through sound exploration. Coos and caws are welcome as children create beats using various materials such as percussions, chimes, drums, and more. By enrolling in this class, you agree to pay royalties for any record deals.

Discussion-Based Classes

The opening act, the first date, the welcome wagon… this is where the Piper family begins. Our Parent & Me programs are designed for you and your family to get to know our preschool and community. Each class takes place in our toddler room and begins with children choosing from a variety of materials, such as water play, sand, dress-up, and more. As they continue their activities with our teachers, parents are given time to join our parenting facilitator to discuss topics of interest. Children play, parents talk, friendships form, and all come together for a closing circle. Families enrolled are given priority for preschool admissions, and typically transition to a classroom the following year. Next stop… drop-off.

Parent & Me: Baby Class

New baby. Who dis? Our newborn class supports families as they settle into the new norm. Parents join in a group setting with their infant as we offer experiences for your baby and opportunities for you to talk about topics of concern (sleep?) and interest (sleep?).

Parent & Me: Toddler Class

Parent & Me: Sibling Class | CLASS FULL

Our sibling class is for our second, third, fourth, (fifth?) time parent. Each class includes a discussion on relevant topics for those juggling a crew.

Parent & Me: Working Parent | Mixed Age

Let's be real... 4:45pm is still a pretty sweet work schedule. But aside from offering night school, we'd really like to show you some love and hope you're able to join. Our evening class offers relevant discussion topics to those of you finding a balance between work and parenthood.

Toddler Program

Ready for preschool but not ready for preschool? Our Toddler Program is a year long class that meets twice a week and includes a discussion-based class as well as a second day where Piper teachers introduce all the cool stuff such as studio art, tumbling, and science. Both days take place in our toddler classroom and end with a circle time. Can't make it to both? Caregivers are welcome to attend on Thursdays. Families enrolled are guaranteed admission into our preschool, and typically transition to a classroom the following year. Children play, parents talk, friendships form. Next stop… drop-off. Welcome to Piper!
